How many former iv drug users on here

Curious to know about some experiences of people that got off the needle. I know from my time in La that it seemed there was a high percentage of drug users that were pretty hard with it. Heroin was plentiful and stout as hell. probably still is
Its not something many people seem to like to talk about openly tho. I guess because of the stigma most seem to carry that iv drug users are the lowest life form in the world of drug use. I think crack users are way worse, but just my opinion

The depths ive seen crackheads sink to, almost inability to ever fully recover, etc. Just seems more devastating in my experiences

I know a couple of guys who were into needles for a while. One is in jail and the other is on a prescription maintenance dose for, I assume, life. I even watched them do it a couple of times. Really disturbing, like I was watching them sign their souls away.

I've never even seen heroin, and I certainly couldn't stomach to see IV use. Not judging, I just don't have the stomach for it.
Hardest I've ever seen fools get was watching some clean cut people get geeked, smoking meth out of light bulbs and off of foil. I like to sleep so I passed.

Yea meth guys bottom out pretty hard too. Ive known a pretty good number of them seem to walk away eventually tho

The "stigma" is the last thing that they need to worry about. Shooting up shite that can end their lives is what they need to worry about.

Slow down bro! Besides the hospital giving me IV drugs before or after surgery I have NEVER shot any drugs up. That is just gross IMO!

I always thought it was just from chasing the smoke up and down the foil. Turns out we're both right.
