Depends on the type of donut. If we're talking Krispy Kreme or Mary Lee's type fluffy donuts I could easily do a dozen. If we're talking a more classic cake-like old fashion donuts I'd struggle to get half a dozen down.

There are those who live to eat, and those who eat to live.

That being said, 5-6 glazed if they're hot. 2-3 lemon filled.

I can't take more than one or 2 glazed donuts. They are far too sweet.

A dozen is Right out.

I could probably eat a dozen but stop at 3-4 because that's when I remember I don't want to be a human tub of lard

In a few weeks I'm running in the Krispy Kreme challenge. It's a 2.5 mile "run" (more than half walk) where you get a box of a dozen Krispy Kreme and then it's 2.5 miles back.

The challenge is to eat the dozen donuts before the run back. The donuts are not warm and the first time I ran it I only ate two. I'm aiming for a half dozen this time.

You are dodging puke the whole run back, especially at the finish line.

For maximum endurance? I'm thinking I could go 8 to 10 glazed or 6 - 7 jellies/cream-filled.
