We can accrue up to 120 hours a year in PTO. Can carry 80 over.

Also get paid days off for the 10 federal holidays.

120 hours annual and 120 hours sick a year.

But I very rarely use sick so I have a few hundred hours banked up.

I get 10 days right now but just started.

After 3 years it'll go up to 20.

Don't get another jump for 10 years after that, though.

That does not include sick days or PTO the company gives for holidays it lets us off for.

I really wish I could work from home like 1 day a week, that'd be nice.

My boss honestly wouldn't care if I worked from home every day, but because I work in the same area as the helpdesk/Tier 1 folks who have to be here to go plug in power cords and other stupid user problems, I have to be here. Otherwise they start crying. There's absolutely no reason for myself (Cybersecurity) or our Tier 2/3 Engineers to be working in an office. We never interact with the users face to face.

How many days of vacation do you have?
And how long have you been at your job?
It comes out to about 25 days per year, been here 1.5 years.

At the previous job, which I was with that company for 13 years, I was at 40 days per year when I left.

I've been at my current job for 14+ years, and I get 4 weeks vacation each year. Last year I took 1 day vacation, even though I did have one full week off. Comp time covered.

we changed our policy a couple of years ago, and you can only carry over 6 weeks per year, so any vacation above 6 weeks per year, you get paid out for in January.

I have 170 hours built up. I do not like having much over 100.

I work 12's so I will only use up 36 hours of vacation this summer, and can make that go for 2 weeks.

My previous hospital job I hated and could NEVER get PTO approved. Which was ridiculous, so.... "Cough Cough

I never let it get above 40 hours there, because I knew I was always a day away from walking.

Don't own this company yet, but I can take as many as I want as long as everything is running smoothly.
ETA: and I normally shut the office down around 10am on Fridays.
