Every time I get an award/degree or whatever (usually once or twice a year), I celebrate it the day I receive it, take a photo holding it with my family for historical record keeping purposes, then burn it.
I keep the walls of my office completely blank. I start with a blank slate every day. Yesterday is gone, all that matters is what am I going to do today and what can I accomplish tomorrow? Don't have time to be sitting around reminiscing on all of my past accomplishments, and to do so would hamper my motivation and energy going forward. If you keep the mindset that you've accomplished nothing in this life and that you have to bust your arse everyday, the awards will keep ocoming instead of just sitting on your wall collecting dust while you sit on you arse admiring them while you slowly die.

If you are in the WSJ, put that up. It looks cool and the WSJ is actually something people read.
Otherwise, no matter how well you mixed the Gatorade, no one cares about your participation trophies.

I'm active, I'm a 65D(PA) now.
Currently commanding a medical training brigade at FSH. Small world. And I probably know you in one way or another.
MAJ C Cole (7th SFGA) is one of my closest PA friends from Bragg. Pinned my senior wings on Sicily DZ way back in the day (crushed them into my chest actually, but that was not hazing ). Good dude. Got to JMPI Buck Benson on Raeford DZ. Was incredible standing in the presence of a SOF/AMEDD living legend.
Do that thing you do brother and stay safe.

I got mine at Ft Wainwright, AK. The guys from 25th ID came up once a year to run a couple of classes. I was messed with my entire career over that.
Don't care, still counts.

Attorneys gets certficates or awards for extra training and you get a certificate for each federal court to which you are admitted, so it gets to be too much.

Military awards are cool. Even if it was for something like fastest obstacle time in your class I would still put that up.

I never put that stuff up, not even diplomas. Your office should describe your company and your character

That's why I've got my disbarment letter framed and prominently displayed.

Having to come here with that question makes it very clear why you had to make a career in the military.

Hang whatever the frick you want on your fricking wall. I think you're just high siding on the OT personally

I guess. Clients think it's amazing. But, there are two federal districts in MS and 3 in Louisiana, each requiring separate admission. So, that's 5. Then, you have the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. That is 6. Add your college degree, law degree, law license for MS, law license for LA, admission to the Supreme Court of the US, graduate degree if you have one, and various certificates and awards from extra training and certification... it just gets pretty stupid after some point.

The lady that did my WSJ picture told me a funny story:
One of Madoff's attorneys was in a photo of Madoff that ran in the WSJ on the front page. This lady has a business and she contacts people that are in the WSJ to see if they want the pic framed on a nice plaque, etc.
Well, this attorney contacted her to be sure and get the plaque, even though he wasn't the focus and even though it was with Madoff.
"Hey, I'm in the WSJ!!!"
