How long do you think you could live without electricity?

I mean if the entire electrical grid was wiped out at one time and no one in the US had electricity, how long do you think you and your family would last?

We dealt with some pretty basic survival in the first couple of days after Katrina and I was legitimately amazed at the number of people who lacked even the most basic survival skills. Things like starting a campfire and setting up a basic latrine. I guess the Boy Scouts did me some good.
