How long can that company continue to be the largest in the world when so many people dislike the experience of going there?

Why are they always full?

Why are there so many stores?

Why are the lines to check out so long?

A better question would be "How long til Target goes out of business because they can't compete with WalMart's prices/"

Simple, the trolls and fools that put it down here are the same ones shopping there every other day..they are poor but like to live it up on a message board.

McDonalds is trash food often served in the ghetto by very trashy people.

And they print money.

I can't speak for everyone but I shite on wal-mart and truly haven't been in one for 18 months. It's pretty easy to avoid.

People don't actually hate walmart, they just like looking cool on the Internet by saying they hate it.

It's just a store. some of the stuff there is fine, some is garbage.

I mean, I can't speak to all markets but doing commercial real estate deals, nobody comes close to grossing what they do.

Ours is never crowded, no lines, good customer service. I go at least once a month to get household items.

It's funny that the European and Australian tourists that come to town don't have the same fear of being seen near a Walmart as keyboard people.

I have not been in a Walmart probably more than 4 years. I do not miss it. There's really no reason for me to step foot into a Walmart.

I loathe Wal-Mart and if you think we're all just being hipsters by not wanting to deal with how inefficient it is, I question your judgment.

Good example is in thibodaux. They were going to build a new neighborhood market along the bayou next to the country club. the people in that area protested hard (even held a protest march). Walmart decided to build it about a mile up the road. I saw on facebook some people talking about the new location and they were OVERJOYED that wal mart was going to be next to their houses...

People that bitch about wal mart don't know how to wal-mark... you gotta go with what you want in mind, have no expectations, park by the auto or garden area, and roll. if you try to go buy a ton of stuff and wait in line, that's your fault. i can be in and out of walmart in 5-10 min.

I think it's usually intelligent people with good upbringings that dislike Walmart--and honestly, how many of those people are there in the U.S? The great mindless majority loves the place.

It's not the store, it's the people. If they didn't go there, they'd be trashing up some other establishment.

We go early on Sunday mornings and it's pretty quick in and out. I am proud to say I am not too white to shop at Walmart.

Poor people need to shop too. But things that I like, environments that I like, customer service that I prefer, etc. aren't necessarily what caters to people of lesser means. I'm sure the really wealthy feel the same about places I like.

Poor =/= trashy. Trashy is when you don't even try.

I usually run in, buy deodorant, paper towels, charcoal.. and am out in less than 10 minutes. Nothing about it bothers me. Filipinos work at the local walmart and provide excellent customer service. I've seen our governor, two US senators and a reality show star (Karl Pilkington) shopping there.
