How far do you think the Japs would get today.....

If they tried the same shite that happened 75 years ago? Would we stop them before they got to Hawaii? Would it start another world war? Would we nuke 'em again? What say the OT?

The Japanese simply don't have the capability of doing that today. Their Navy is much smaller and they have no true aircraft carriers.

Not to mention we'd know it the moment they set sail.

dont we have close to 1/3 of the USMC active duty on Okinawa Japan?

Pretty sure they cant go off sneaking around like that anymore besides didnt we also demilitarize the entire nation?

The Japs should be thanking us for dropping the atomic bombs, snapping them out of their militaristic daze. They would not be the economic powerhouse that they are today if we had been forced to invade mainland Japan. Every village, town, and city would have been like Stalingrad, millions upon millions of Japanese dead. They would have been reduced to an agricultural society using 19th century technology by the time it would have been over.

I'm going to go with their technology then, against ours now. A matter of minutes if we bother to send anything to greet them. A matter of hours if we let our boys have a grand time shooting zeros like skeet.
