Kenner's new no boat in driveway rule is about to take affect and plenty of people are upset.
I have a driveway that goes into my backyard, so I have no dog in this, just seems odd to me.

A small government loving conservative city in state that calls itself a sportsman's paradise, doesn't allow boats parked in driveways anymore.

if there are boats in the driveways of your neighborhood, you live in a trashy fricking neighborhood.

You silly goose boats go in the water, not on driveways...

Money for the boat but not enough to store it.

I put a camo tarp up to block the view of it because I'm classy.

Why do we park on a driveway and drive on parkway?

Does one have to have a seperate garage for one's toys to be considered not trashy? Who would pay a sloop fee for a bass boat?

when the city pays my mortgage or pays my property taxes, they can tell me where to park my boat. Otherwise, frick them in their goat-smelly, meddlesome asses.

This is why I live in the sticks.

Should the government tell you that you can't park your boat in the driveway? No.

Is parking your boat in your driveway trashy as frick? Yes.

Looks trashy and brings down property values. Same goes for that junk Mustang you've been meaning to restore for the last ten years and your travel trailer that doubles as a guest house.

Bass boats are trashy no matter where you put it.

Ballers pay sloop fees because why would you park a yacht in your driveway?

You cant pay marina fees? I pay like $260/mo to store 2 jet skis at a marina in FL, it doesnt kill me, and it wont kill you homeowners with bass boats.

Solution seems simple - move it from the driveway into the front yard.

i would dig a small pond...just big enough for the boat to float and then launch it.

I'd have to pay a sloop fee to keep it in storage on a body of water that I don't even fish or hunt on. frick that, I pay some old country dude to let it sit at his place and do maintenance.

You understand that people like to fish in more than one place, right?

I can agree with that.

I'm thinking of the old ran down neighborhoods, here a lot of people have flat boats and all. Seems like a lot of expense for them.

I can't think of any boats in the front yard around me.
