Even if you ate all that in one day, that's not a lot of food at all. That's like one meal.

That's like 500 calories. That's not nearly enough for a day to live.

If you are truly going hungry or begging for money on the street, then you are fricking lazy. I work with a guy from another country and he said he feels no sympathy for people begging for money, ever. He said it is because if there is any country where you can at least make minimum wage, it is this one, and where he is from, you die if you don't choose to do such work.

A sandwich or a burger costs 99 cents for fricks sake. If you are begging for money you are not above working fast food or some other minimum wage job.

If you can't afford food why would you buy a jug of water?

It seems like you're mainly feeling the need to feel superior to the least of us. Why is that?

Probably, but you'd need some place to cook it. But people don't go hungry because they don't have $3.25. They go hungry because that money needs to go to more important things like keeping themselves not homeless.

ramen is even cheaper than that. chicken breast is $1.99lb

Pound of chicken and 2 packs of ramen a day. Throw in some bread and peanutbutter and eggs.. hell, I lived like that through college just fine

Now you're getting pretty expensive, though. Beans and rice is cheap and good for you. I find that I have to eat a frick ton of it to stay full. But then again I eat 3000 - 3500 calories a day. And again, some people are struggling just to pay rent and keep the lights on. Every dollar counts.

Me too. It's so cheap and there's so many different ways to make it. It can also be really, really good for you depending on what ingredients you use. Sometimes I make a huge pot of it and eat off it all week.

Someone must be willing to give the person the money to buy the food.

Really?

I was being half serious at most. I do think its crazy that so many illegals are here and find enough to eat though
