screenshot the driveway from google earth, and we'll figure out an arrangement for 5 cars.

I love being able to park in the garage (lucky to currently have a 2.5 car garage with additional storage space). I'll never buy a house again without enough room to comfortably park two cars and actually open all the doors. When my kids can drive, hopefully I'll have enough money to afford a house with additional garages. Until then, only visitors park in the driveway.

I had no idea you had a son

Is the yard big enough to park 1-2 cars in?

Just make sure you park in the right direction

Why would he be 30?

park on the grass next to the driveway. If people don't park in the street in your neighborhood I wouldn't park there.

It is times like these I am thankful for the internet. How others live is truly fascinating.

C'mon now. As if having a son while living with your brother wasn't confusing.

Build a house.

Have tons of extra driveway, with 4 garages, two of which are 50' deep.

That's the only way.

ETA: sorry, didn't read the whole thread.

Your son is near the same age as his nephew?

The best part about this thread was you thought it was about parking spots in a driveway but it is so much more.

It has the plot for an A&E documentary.

Your son is lucky. Sounds like him not having a car could help out with more than one problem. Not judging. I would probably sell my kids cars immediately if I was laid off and had to move. But I'm also kind of an a-hole.

Have the people who drive the least park closest to the house, people who drive the most at the back.

Also without a layout, we have no idea what to tell you.

Also need to make everyone's keys accessible at some central point.

Brother comes in at 2AM, parks last, goes to sleep w/ his keys in his room. Dad has to leave for work at 6AM, gotta wake brother to find his keys...
