We have one of those in our office. We are constantly pranking him just to watch him whine to the boss who can't do anything about it because she doesn't know who's doing it.

Ignore them. Do your job like you know it needs to be done. Any decent "boss" sees right thru this suck up game.

And, of course, post about it on the OT.

I would say try to outwork him, but that doesn't seem likely.

I would hate to have to work somewhere and be on "a team".

Eh. Hopefully the boss is big enough to see through the charade. If not, it's probably worth looking elsewhere for employment as I cannot respect someone who falls for stank nose tactics.

Things he does:

Going above and beyond to nag the boss about extra work he can do.

Eats lunch with our admin and the ladies in our office instead of going out.

Constantly has to be talking to the boss.

Wouldn't dream of being on TD during the work day.

Become his best friend. It sounds like you'll be working for him soon.

Our boss loves him bc he's the sassy black guy who tries so hard. Is sickening

I'm the type that does what I'm told and doesn't try and be creative/nagging my boss

If your boss is not smart enough to see what's going on you've got a terribad boss. If your boss DOES see it then he's probably using the suck ups games to manipulate the suck up into even greater production.

Use the suck up for your purposes! Learn to manipulate them and play them like a puppet. You may find yourself promoted for being able to "manage" others.

The real world is kill or be killed. Do you wanna eat or are you OK with being kibbles and bits?

Tough to beat, he's got you on points there.

Probably not a bad move either. His game > Your game

Depends on how the boss feels about him. Neutral move.

Score for him. (Sorry Chicken)

He also speaks in a faggy voice even though he's married.
Poor move, but maybe you can score with his wife if you have this much problem with him.

Imagine a feminine black guy who tries to be the model employee
Argumentum ad hominem much, bro?

Sounds like you'll be working on the TPS reports Saturday one day for him.

Seriously though, if you really want to impress the "boss", volunteer to keep the ice cream machine "not broken" until at least 11pm every night you work while still keeping up with the need for fresh fries.
