Are they causing any accidents? If not, then leave them alone. More people's lives could be put at risk by creating a high speed chase.

More dangerous to intercept in those types of situations. Not really worth the risk unless there was a previous crime involved.

In Shreveport, LA, they don't.

Got passed by a flock of brothers on crotch rockets tonight on I-10 headed into Houston. Speed limits and lanes don't mean a damned thing to them. Amazed they don't cause more wrecks.

On a motorcycle? They had better be justified in using deadly force in that instance.

The question was how do you handle them.

I provided an answer that would stop them now and probably deter any future if publicized.

Edit: changed stop to handle

If I was a cop I'd blue light them in a heart beat.

Your answer would also result in a guilty verdict for you too.

I would grab a license plate if possible and meet them at their home and talk about the matter later.

Oh hell, I'll play for a bit but be warned, I will grow tired of your game quickly.

Guilty? Of?

Or do you mean accused of being excessive?

Sure there are more manageable ways without causing the obvious tumble.

The means to handle that would really be determined by the level of criminal activity. If they shot a bus load of crippled children then my response may be the way. If they are just a group of kids racing down the street then a different approach would be more appropriate.

Oh I'm there at this point.

Guilty? Of?

Murder down to criminally negligent homicide.

(2) Under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to human life, he or she recklessly engages in conduct which creates a grave risk of death to a person other than himself or herself, and thereby causes the death of another person.

Civil liability:
Wrongful death
Civil Rights Violations on the Federal side

Just off the top of my head. Now if they had just committed a drive by shooting. frick'em, ramming speed.

It's a law if they're already clocked at over 100. If they're under its officer discretion

Or have ones that can flip up. Both of my friends who ride have a license plate that can flip up just for this occasion where they can zip off the interstate and just hit a couple turns and be fine

Leave them alone. They're just having fun. They are the ones most likely to get injured.

Do they scare you or something?

Do they not fit your profile of good people?

Speed limits are bullshite any way. We need wider Interstate Hwys and slow idiots to get out of the left lane.

That's my first initial thought, but wouldn't you have to launch them at the targets as to not take out any police units?

They leave them alone.

I used to have a CBR and would hit 150+ on 400 North of atl. Cops would not even bother.
