How disrespectful would your boss have to be before you quit?

Let's say you were a good employee, always on time and worked hard and your boss was disrespectful and ungrateful.
When would you say enough is enough?

Don't quit. Get a lawyer and sue him for creating a hostile work environment. You deserve to be appreciated (by your Plaintiff Attorney)!

People can't abuse you unless you allow them to.
If you're all you say, let loose on his arse one time, he'll leave you alone. Bosses know who they can pick on and who not to. Step up and become one of the ones he'll know he can talk shite to and not be checked.

I'd quit the second I could line something else up. I can't stand shitty bosses who don't appreciate a good employee. I had a boss in college who was a really cool guy 95% of the time, but he would throw fits where he wouldn't even say what he was mad about. Basically, he was a teenage girl with tons of insecurities. After about the fifth time he stopped talking to me over a simple misunderstanding (and openly talked shite about me to other employees who knew I was excellent), I quit on the spot. All of the other higher-ups completely supported my decision.

Mine cut my hours back right when it was time for my yearly raise. Then added responsibilities. Then jumped my arse for not having time for BS "meetings" which were basically just an opportunity to yell at everyone. I rolled.

This is pretty much what I'm going through

In my situation, I actually texted him telling him he should stop acting like a child and talk to me like a man. Then he texted something he really shouldn't have. I was able to get out of the usual two weeks notice quite easily. The other bosses just didn't want a lawsuit.

It was a restaurant. It was pretty clear that I was great at my job. I understand what you are saying, but I was super well liked, and people actually quit when I did. I was getting texts for months complaining about my absence.

The guy would straight up act like I wasn't in the room when I talked to him. He actually didn't respond to my voice. That's the kind of guy we're talking about.
