Homeless dude asks you to pour a sip of your beer into his cup. OT reacts Y/N?

Had a young homeless dude walk up to me on the street in the Quarter and ask me to pour a "sip" of my beer into his cup. How do you react?
I told him he could have all of my beer and handed him my drink. It takes balls to drink after a strange dude off the street. He declined and just wanted that "sip". Maybe I look like I had germs at the bottom of the beer

I have bought a beer for homeless guys several times when that occurs.
They always get the biggest smile when I do so it makes it worth it

Gave a homeless guy 4 warm ones once. I told him they were warm and had been in my car all night and morning, said he didn't care.
I'll do that any day. Better than some fricker trying to give you a bullshite story asking for money just wasting your time.

I was in the grocery store yesterday and a man walked up to me with four or five items and asked "Can I put these in your basket and get them after you pay for them."
I laughed as I told him "No".

Did he appear to be homeless or somehow who was down on the luck?
If someone ask for food I'll buy them a meal.
To answer the OP, if I was in a place like the French Quarter and that happened I'd probably give the man the beer

I've given leftover beers to guys a few times. I don't begrudge a homeless man who wants to get drunk. What the hell else is he gonna do with 16 hours a day if he won't/can't work? Yelling bible verses at passing cars is entertaining for 1, 2 hours tops. I'm not joking either. Homeless folks have a lot of time to kill.
