Never had a problem other then when ordering on line, one doesn't get the military 10% discount. So, once you get the item in, you have to do a return at the store and they rering it up for the discount.

The Lowes on Millerville is top notch in customer service. There's a guy in plumbing that is very helpful.

Bought a 10x8 foot shed to lock some items in while repairs start on our home. Site said there was 2 in stock so I purchased it and got email to pick up next day. Got there to pick it up and they told me they were out for weeks but stock wasn't updated. Long story longer, took 4 days to get it to the store. I did bitch and moan enough for them to offer to deliver it free to our home. They probably beat the shite out of it loading it up for delivery

I've done it and had no issues. They even called me to tell me it was waiting for me.

I ordered a Ryobi cordless impact driver. I received a Weber bbq pit. They refunded my money and let me keep the pit.

Happy to say I've used both quite a bit and never had a problem.
I would recommend Lowes for appliances though.

I'm a contractor and made the mistake of using Home Depot for a few of thier services after the flood to keep things moving along. It's been a nightmare. Never again. I've cancelled pretty much everything with them and went out of town for other vendors.

Was it a black guy named Cedrick? The few times I've needed help in there, he happened to be working. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

On a side note, all the big box stores in the BR area are highly overwhelmed right now. I've talked to people working in there that they've brought in from other stores in the state and as far as Texas. Those stores went from 20 customers an hour, to 200, overnight.

Two years ago my wife and I had flooring installed by Home Depot. They charged me 2.65 per square foot to install the tile and required me to order 10% more for breakage. So when the job was over. I kindly return 100+ sq ft of product and they refunded me for the product. I asked if they would refund for labor that wasn't used for the 100+ feet that I returned. I had to end up talking to a regional manager before they would refund it. It was like I was talking to someone who didn't pass 5th grade math.

No question Lowes has better in-store service.

Never had problems with HD or Lowes online. The Fatwallet/ebates is good if you order ahead of time
