The electronics panel in our A/C air handler keeps getting condensation on it. The blower motor moves cool air behind the panel, and eventually enough water collects on the electronics - namely the control board - that the blower motor continuously starts up and shuts off as if it were a relay problem. Once I dry it off, it runs fine.

It's not a perfectly sealed unit. There are a few small air gaps where the handler access doors attach for example.. but is there another reason why this thing would be building up this much moisture inside?

The duct work prior to the air handler might have gaps, causing it to pull warm humid air that is contributing to the condensation

Strange issue. Sounds like it needs to be better insulated and not have any gaps that I assume are pulling in attic air.

Check to see if your return air duct is sealed good, don't want to be sucking in attic air. Also could be a dirty evaporator coil not allowing the blower to push the air throw properly. Could make the condensation on coil to splash around inside.

What is the best way to check for gaps in the return duct work?

Also there is very little evidence of condensation anywhere else inside the handler.. it's almost exclusively inside the "cabinet" where all of the electronics are
