I have had hiccups the last two days for about a two hours 3 to 4 times daily. I'm freaking miserable. Anybody have any remedies? I'll try reasonable ones (yall can be some sick shite heads )

I got an insane hiccup fit in conjunction with a nasty cold/flu thing a week ago. Had a stretch of hiccups every 5/10 seconds for two hours that gave me even worse headache/nausea than I already had. I think laying on my back helped get me over it.

Stick your thumb in your mouth and blow as hard as you can for 20 seconds.

I don't have that but if lasts too long I get indigestion.

Put a paper towel over the mouth of a water bottle and try to chug it.

Or just hold your breath and then try to swallow air.

Those work for me sometimes.

Drink a glass of water while pinching your nose and cupping your ears. Have someone help.

Bitters. If that doesn't work ask your doc for a Thorazine, yes Thorazine. Former co-worker had hiccups continually for almost a week; Drove him batty. One dose of Thorazine relaxed his diaphragm and hiccups were gone.

I had a gf who had those same sad symptoms.

She was a sensational sleezy slurper.

Maybe you should stop slurping.

Press hard under your diaphragm like you're giving yourself the heimlic but hold for a couple minutes. You should just barely be able to breathe calm, short breaths.

After the hiccups stop try to stay still and focus on slow, steady breathing for awhile or they'll come back.
