Haven't heard anything 2 weeks after interview: Send email?
Not hearing anything for this long makes me think that I am most likely not going to get it.

Should I send an email asking on the status of the hiring process as well as reiterating my desire/skills I can bring to the company?

Have any of the hiring managers out there changed their mind about someone because they did this?

Walk into HR and loudly demand to "get to the bottom of this right this minute". You will get a response.

Rookie move Costanza. You send a thank you email after your interview thanking them for their time. As others have said, you didn't get it.

I did send them an email within a day of the interview thanking them. I'm not that much of a noob.

Best way to go about it is drop a short, simple message like this:

quote:

######,

I wanted to follow up on our interview the other week. I would be happy to continue discussing the position as well as my qualifications.

If you wanna beef it up a little bit, add something about what excites you about the position and tie it into your interests and experience. Keep it simple though.

No harm in asking. I'm on the road constantly, and it's not that uncommon for me to have to schedule interviews across multiple weeks when hiring.

i've gotten a job after a month or so, they probably went with someone else but got rejected by their first choice in that situation.

Cool I like this.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I've had other interviews since then, so it's not the end of the world. This company was my number one choice, though.

Has anyone said that "seven costanza" is a troll just building up his posts to seem legit?

I hope this is the case because I would have the job. I sent them an email right after the interview.
