Have you ever won anything big?

I won $5K once in a church raffle.
By the time I donated a chunk to the church, gave a chunk to my wife, and broke off another chunk for my Uncle Sam, I had about $1K left.
Then I had every geriatric in the place making suggestions for savings & college funds.
This made me realize a person would need to win an extraordinary amount of money to actually have something at the end of the day.

Nothing big but when I was 7 I won 50 bucks from WTIX for identifying the trick or treat house in my neighborhood

Microsoft Office, back when it was sold as physical goods. Dumped it on eBay for a pretty penny.

Also named the Baton Rouge Blaze AF2 "Name the Team" contest and won $1000 and free front row tickets for life (which ended up being one season). They gave me one of those big checks presented to be by Alan Risher and Gordy Rush at the Belle of BR Atrium
I've won some big chunks of change ($500+) on multiple occasions at Evangeline Downs as well
