Havanese puppies

Does anyone have a Havanese dog? Follow up: does anyone have a breeder they can recommend? The wife and kids want one. The limited research I have done indicates that this would be a solid choice for us. We have three kids ages 4-11, and the dog would be primarily indoors with plenty of room inside and out as needed. Any advice/experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.

GF's mom has a havanese and two malteses. They both came from the same breeder, I think in Jennings? Dog is a piece of shite though. Hates everyone except her.

Havanese are awesome dogs. No shedding and are great with kids.

We have a Havanese. Best dog we have ever had. We got her from a certified breeder in Jeanerette, LA. She does not shed and is good with everyone. This lady breeds them to be about 9 lbs. full grown. Her website is:

We have one. He's awesome.
He lost an eye a couple years ago in an accident. He was at a kennel while we were white water rafting and he fell off a deck hitting his eye on the corner of a wooden step. Knocked it right out. The eye died so we had the vet take it out because it was bulging and red and it looked like he was cross-eyed as frick.
He runs into shite every now and again, but other than that he's the tits.
