I know it's a new and fresh topic been, but damn the MOL went from the good mall to the bad one fast. Still some fairly decent stores, but holy Hell most of the clientele (black, white and all shades in between) leaves a lot to be desired.

I continue to try and avoid the place like the plague.

Oh and when did it become an in thing for young black males to wear what looks like pajama pants in broad daylight?

No one with money shops at malls anymore. And all the restaurants are particularly crappy chains. So what would you expect?

If you ever see a 26 year old mall walking with all of the older people there, say hey and I'll ignore you.

"With money" is a very elastic term. What does that mean in BR. I've most recently been to the Pentagon City Mall and Lennox in Atlanta, and there's plenty of "money" there. And I'm not talking "my parents have a combined income of $200K" BR money.

In BR it means they wear topsiders and drive a King Ranch F150

Are you suggesting the Cortana is the good mall?
LP, AP, and NBR sure are represented @ MOL

I hate to burst the black Hollywood bubble, but that's good money in Atlanta.

Good point! I wouldn't have been there at all if it weren't for my 5 year old son. He's low on the Autism Spectrum, but on it nonetheless. Tried to get his haircut, the shop was closed. Tried to go somewhere else, but it was too loud and busy for him. He has a fascination with several things, one of them being fountains/waterfalls and he kept asking to see them. We were near the mall and I knew they had fountains in the outdoor area so we went to see them and I just made these observations.

That's good money anywhere in the south, Midwest, and many parts of the SW and NE. But I meant "real" money as in people in malls buying $30K watches. So people "with money", real money, still shop in malls.

Don't get sensitive on me.

My brother and sis-in-law live there. We were born and raised in BR, though.

Depends on the area really, I bet some cities still have very nice malls or the more popular open air type shopping areas. They have a very nice mall near me (Scottsdale Fashion Square) that has a ton of high end stores(even a Tesla "dealership"). It has your usual mall stores as well, but def caters to a more high end shopper. I still enjoy going to that mall.

Why do some of you make the stupidest blanket statements that you could never prove and can be proven wrong in seconds?
