Has anyone tried stand-up comedy?

I would like to, but I'm just not very funny

Yep, even got paid a few times. Not to brag...

I tried stand-up once, but I fell flat.

I know a guy who did and the videos are on YouTube and it's absolutely fricking awful.

Like you know how "comedians" start cursing to cover up how bad their set is?

Thank God, no. But if ever cornered into that I'd start with "So I farted myself awake on a packed flight" and if it gets as much as one snicker ""Goodnight!!"

You may have seen a good friend of mine up there, CB. He says the scene there is pretty good. It's been awesome that NOLA has gotten some guys to do some shows here I saw Louie and Dave Chapelle in like a 2 week period.

So you've apparently thought about this. I'd like to know what you built up in your imagination for a scenario where you are "cornered" into doing stand-up.

There's a bomb in the bar, and the only way to diffuse it is for you to stand in front of that brick wall and try to make people laugh. You'd be a fricking hero.

I've been cornered into karaoke because bachelor party. I gameplan these shits, dawg.
