Maybe OP should go be miserable someplace else and not ruin it for everybody.

Like I said, I doubt I will go. And if I were somewhere else I promise you I would not be miserable. I like to gamble, drink a little, be able to do something competitive with friends so we can either give each other a hard time or celebrate depending on what is going on.

I like to go places you can go visit different places, interact with different people. I didn't provide ALL the details, but the person who planned this is known for doing things like this.

She goes above and beyond to make everything about her. This is sort of a rare situation in terms of me being involved with plans in which she is involved in, but this is sort of typical behavior for her.

Her parents do anything for their grandkids.. I mean anything.. And she uses that to her advantage.

So if miserable is enjoying to do other things than staying in a lodge for 5 days that is completely designed for children (this is an example of how she takes advantage of situations. She can put together a vacation for her kids and not have to pay as much as she would if it was planned as a single family vacation. It would be split cost and since it involves the kids, knowing her parents will do anything for their grandkids, in this situation, they are likely to pay for it. In other words, she isn't worried about others who are going and what others want to do. It's about how she can make it work out in her best interest) then I am miserable.

Hell, i live 2 minutes from there and have never gone. But my kid is only 1 year old. My brothers older kids seem to enjoy it. Not exactly a place to visit without children. If you're stuck Going grapevine main street can be entertaining and the brewery is decent. Plus the lake is right there.

5 days? Get ready to drop two grand to stay in a kids room and be surrounded by toddlers the whole time.

If you go to this, you'll learn what it means to be a fool. Your education is important.

It's great and the kids will have a blast but 1 night is all you need. They can go in while you are waiting for checkin and they can stay playing after you checkout the next day. You may be able to stomach 2 nights but 1 is really all you need. Def not more than 2.

Great if you are bringing kids. 2 nights is all you need. I would never go if not bringing kids. More kids than you can shake a stick at.

Are the rooms like condos? I am assuming its a place where multiple people (8. 6 adults. 2 kids) can stay in together so it's not like paying the cost of a single family, but like I mentioned, I am 99.9% chance I am not going. But to be honest, when I was told about this, it was the first time I ever heard of this place. After looking it up, based on the responses in this thread, it is worse than I even imaged at first.
