i have a few coworkers who are in it. they're always trying to get others to join with them. their sales pitch is telling you that you can save money buying the products you already use. costs $800 to start, but you can refi your house right off with wells fargo and get $750 for doing that. i still would not commit if i were you

It is a pyramid scheme. That said, a membership will provide some great discounts on a variety of things IF you are/were going to buy those things anyway. My wife and I joined for the discounts and have not done any of the recruiting thing. In just under two years, we've already exceeded in savings the cost of a lifetime membership on just two major purchases (rental suv for a week in Denver and hardwood flooring). Unlike most other pyramid schemes, there is no product that is being sold like Limu, Amway, etc. It's strictly a membership fee to have access to discounts.
