Has anyone ever passed out in the baggage claim after drinking on a flight?

You do realize he was on a 9 hour flight and 8 time zones different?

I take it you've never experienced jet lag.

I've experienced 12 hour jet lag and 40 hour trips and somehow managed to arrive home vertical.

I'll admit that I waited to unpack until after a long snooze once I got home ... but I did get home without passing out in public.

Yeah, I'd say it's passable if he's on a flight that long. He may have been sitting beside a crying baby the entire time that didn't let him sleep and is too exhausted to move. I've definitely passed out in an airport after a long flight with minimal alcohol in my system. Not in the baggage claim, but in a seat when I'm on a layover.

I flew from Sea-Tac to Seoul. When we took off the sun was coming up. When we landed 9 hours later the sun was still coming up. fricked me up for a good 3 days.

I stayed up the whole time on a starting at 9AM MSY-IAH-AMS(7 hour layover)-DEL flight landing at 3AM. I woke up 9AM ready to go after 4 hours sleep.

I'm hoping to sleep the whole way to our honeymoon. Lie flat seats and all.

Continuous Xanex on international flights has done me in upon landing more than once. Make it off the plane, but need a little nap while I wait for the bags.

Flew IAH-PEK a few weeks ago. If you time it out right you can flip your internal clock to be pretty close to accurate to the time you are landing. Then with about 6 hours left in my flight the tv went out and I was screwed.

Then on the way home a kid felt the need to run up and down the isle every hour on the hour screaming. I didn't sleep for almost 30 hrs due to that kid.

Its taken me days to get back on schedule.

My buddy threw up in the TSA security line, and then later passed out on a bench in Houston's shite airport, and surprisingly he woke up in time to catch his connecting.
