Has anyone had any success with minoxidil and/or a hair transplant? I am going to try and at least curb my male pattern baldness with minoxidil, Finasteride, and biotin. Also considering a FUT transplant to restore my hairline in the future. Sorry if this has been posted before. If you have tried any of this, I would like to know of your experience. If you are with all of your hair, flame away if you must. LOL

I have been using the 4 guard on top, 3 on the sides for years. Shaved it a few months ago and it was pretty bad. Some people can rock that but not for me.

I tried the minoxodil once, and I didn't see any positive change. I may not have been patient enough with it, but I think the rogaine is mainly for people who are losing it on the crown of their head, where as mine is just receding in the front.

Just keep it cut short and accept your fate, I say.

When you shower it will rinse down your back and shoulders and start growing a pelt there.

I'm 42 and married, so I wouldn't say I suffer it. I watched my dad fight it for a long time and he gave me the advice to not even frick with it.

I'm happily married to a hot chick and have a few kids. She is fine with the way I look. This is more of a vanity thing for me. I feel young but I don't look young without a ball cap.

Just started shaving my head when it started thinning in my early 20s. I actually look better with shaved head/really short hair.
