Ever since the Exxon Valdez, none of the big oil companies want their name anywhere on a ship and they separate themselves from the shipping companies they own as much as possible.

For a quarter extra you get a map of the state your tanker will environmentally ravage and despoil

I have an all metal tanker truck that was big enough I could sit on it and ride. All kinds of sharp metal corners. They would never sell it these days. Too bad.

I don't remember that, but Texaco had some awesome commercials when I was a kid.

Don't know that it's wise to trust the man who wears the star enough to let him baby sit your kids.

Nope. Just the fire chief helmet and the fire truck. Great toys.

And you have to be old to remember that

Wut?

Chevron Shipping Company has a fleet of vessels that have Chevron emblazoned on them real fricking big.

Kinder Morgan, while not an oil company of any real note, instead classified as an energy company, has a fleet of Jones Act tankers.

Also....I've got a ton of this shite from Gulf, Gulf Gas, Warren Petroleum, & Chevron that my parents would bring home when I was a kid. Ive got a few in my office...remind me of the good old days when companies still gave this type of stuff out. I don't need anymore fricking polo shirts.

I don't remember that tanker, but I did have a red Texaco fire chief helmet that had a microphone that you could pull down from the brim, and your amplified voice would come out of a speaker in the front.

Great toy. Good times.

ETA: My brother and I both had one of those. Played with it over and over again. Great memories.

In fact CVX is building 6 more LNG ships.

If those things weren't such a pain in the arse to schedule I might think of moving business groups.

No, but I had the 18 wheeler Texaco delivery truck toy as a kid, because my dad and grandpaw were in the biz.
