BATON ROUGE – The man who shot and killed an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's deputy this month was hiding a weapon on himself, and it was a struggle over that weapon that lead to the deputy's murder.
The information was released as part of the initial complaint investigated by State Police. The report was made available Wednesday morning.
The deputy, Shawn Anderson, died after being shot. Anderson, a sergeant at the time, was buried last week. Anderson was promoted to the rank of lieutenant at his funeral.
The gunman, Brandon Wiley, died at a hospital later. Wiley was shot in the altercation with Anderson.
At the time of the shooting, deputies were investigating a rape case where a 15-year-old girl reported Wiley tied her hands with a belt and raped her.
The girl said that she had met Wiley a month before the rape and that he had given her tattoos without parental permission.
Court documents indicate that Wiley had an extensive criminal history.

Are you implying Sterling did not have a weapon or do you mean opposite because an LEO was killed?

Well, Gravy and his stooges won't enjoy read that.

Obviously the latter considering it's a fact Alton had a gun.

So the opposite outcome of the Alton Sterling situation.
Care to explain or are you purposely trying to be obtuse?

Only opposite outcome is the LEO passed away unfortunately. Besides that, the cases are nearly the same but I bet the BLM people won't say a word on this one.

In the other situation, the LEO is the one that dies.
Wasn't at the scene but in the Anderson case the tPOS died a few days later in the hospital so in that aspect, the cases still had the same result for the tPOS

Not quite, the shooter eventually died from his wounds.
Its weird how there isn't the same outrage in this situation (unless I'm not hearing about it), if you look at the two perpetrators they are almost the same.
Alton sterling situation - person with extensive criminal history, featuring rape, felon in possession of a gun, law enforcement responding to a call, Perp failing to comply with law enforcement, struggle with law enforcement
Brandon Wiley situation - person with extensive criminal history, featuring rape, felon in possession of a gun, law enforcement responding to a call, Perp failing to comply with law enforcement, struggle with law enforcement
Is there anything I missed in the comparison? Where are the BLM protesters taking up for this IMO scum?

Nice edit. It said "How about you explain what you think I meant?" So I will go with purposefully obtuse because your statement was possibly the dumbest thing I have ever seen posted.

I edited because dumbasses are misinterpreting.
What did you think I meant by "so the opposite outcome of the Alton Sterling situation"? I'm honestly interested in the transformation that statement underwent as it went from the screen to your brain.

It's a difference but the tPOS were still the same and I don't feel sorry for either one of them. I feel sorry for Anderson's family and the negative shadow this case on Howie and Blaine but they will eventually be cleared I believe.
