Around Navarre Beach to be safe.
All locations along the Emerald Coast can get murky after a storm or heavy rainfall. Your best bet for clear water is during dry conditions with a Bermuda high hanging overhead for several days (in May or June to avoid seaweed).

Everything past Mobile bay is the same as far as sand goes. The water gets clear as you head east but can be clear from Gulf Shores on depending on the weather and all. I've seen it clearest just past Destin but I've seen it very clear in Gulf Shores twice this year and when I was in Destin the following week it wasn't near as nice. So it just depends.

Dauphin Island, actually for white sand.
Blue/green water can be Dauphin Island at times, but for consistently blue/greenish Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. Depends on how much filth is coming out the Mississippi River and Mobile Bay and which way the current and wind is headed
