Greece Looks Awesome, Any of Yall been there?

yes… it was beautiful… went in may of 2010….. i think….

it was around the time of the big volcano shite around Greenland or Iceland, where the ash went over the UK airspace…

talk about a clusterfrick to try to get back to the states!

but it was beautiful… i was a little under the weather, we didn't do a ton on Santorini, but Athens was cool as frick…

it was also the time during the riots, so when you walked on the street, you'd see big arse windows smashed out and shite… but looking at the history and shite was cool…

the beach was black sand… it was neat… i have a pic of my LSU hat in the sand that looks cool… along with a little mural with big white stones against the black sand that spelled out "LSU"….

i'll dig around and try to find the pics… of course, i don't really know how to post them, but i'm sure someone would help a brotha out...

Looks like a pretty small country from those photographs.

it does look cool as hell...I wonder why we don't use that white decor in a lot of the warmer climates in the US...seems like it would save a ton of energy during the summer...

Don't be deceived by the tourism photos. Greece is a dump and the place has a bigger inferiority complex than the deep south, so you'll likely run into a lot of people with inferiority complex/short man syndrome. The present day Greeks are almost all mestizos and are nothing like the original fair-haired Greeks who built civilization.

I spent a summer in Greece. Some of the islands, like your picture (Santorini) are awesome, but Athens sucks.

Greece is awesome but A LOT of pictures you see from places like that are photoshopped to hell and back.
