Like it or not, individuals are responsible for their own actions, not for the actions of others.
You are not responsible for the actions of a Muslim suicide bomber merely because you're Muslim too. Just like you're not responsible for Sandy Hook just because you have a gun.

I don't think anyone is arguing that, but let's use your example.
When there's a terror attack, the first thing we hear is, "this doesn't represent Islam!".
When there's a mass shooting, we hear "We need to ban guns!".
Now, what would happen if, after the next terror attack, a politician says "we need to ban all Muslims" (Trump joke, I know)?
It's not the fact that people are lumping crazies in with others, it's the fact that no one is allowed to criticize Islam for any reason. Not even the slaughter of hundreds of people at once.

If people invaded the US cluster bombing, seizing assets, and everything else....would there be groups of people who would form to try to fight it? Would they pray for the strength to beat the invaders?
It's funny, we watch shows like Walking Dead, Jerihco, and other post apocolyptic storylines and they are always littered with how easy "man" becomes "animal", society collapses, warlords take over, and the evil within emerges as neccessary......but when it's Islam and we are the oppessors bombing for 20-30 years....then it's Islam, not the product of devastation.
We constanly talk about our troops and PTSD, how nearly a third of our brave soldiers suffer from depression, alcoholism, and other dissassoictive disorders.
22 Veterans commit suicide every day after being exposed for a tour or two, and "they need help"....but one suicide bomber, who raised in rubble, exposed to the horrors of war since infancy.....He...He is the sound minded individual who was only doing what some book told him to......our US soldiers are victims, that goat herder should know better?

Let's take the bombing out of your argument for a second.
These people, in a vacuum, believe it's ok to kill people for renouncing their faith or for committing adultery. Hell, they even think it's ok to kill people to protect the family's honor.
Now, does that have anything to do with the West?
