I'd get life in prison if people knew how many times I've wooped my older boy in the past. Other kids I've never had to whip. Haven't had to whip him in long time though.

Eta Her 13-year-old son told authorities Spears struck him multiple times with an RCA cord. He had lacerations to both of his arms and marks across his leg, shoulder, back and stomach, causing some bleeding, the report says. The other two boys also showed some injuries, with the 12-year-old showing cuts on his arm and the youngest child suffering from a small scratch to the hand, according to the document

Damn, didn't do all that though

good parenting done a little too late, and they should have arrested the little shitstains for admitting to B&E

They didn't need to be whipped. Taking away their phone for the day would be punishment enough.

Considering what they had done I have no issue with this at all, that's all superficial and a life long lesson for those bastards

They're probably still waiting for the BRPD to show up to investigate.

It's a little over the top. You can't leave marks with blood. They should be locked up a few days to get a taste of what they in for if they continue.

Yes, she may have gone a tad overboard, but if they felt they were old enough to break into a home, then they should at least be old enough to feel a version of what WOULD happen in the future if they kept acting like that. I am sure that beating feels like a Swedish Massage compared to what they would experience in gangs and prison. Maybe now, they will think twice about living the thug life.

Even if your assumption is correct, none of that = Good parenting, which is what the OP asked.

I'm a spanking proponent, but a good parent could teach that lesson without an RCA cord and drawing blood.

People nowadays would lose their minds if they could see me and my brother after our grandmother finished with a hickory. She was like Yoda with a damn hickory.

Who called the fricking cops? The kids? My dad tuned me up worse than that for B&E when I was a kid.
