You would probably have better luck in Metairie or Kenner. I have a great Car guy, he is just not in Uptown New Orleans

Emile's Auto Repair on Airline right next to the London Lodge.

Not Uptown but easily accessible by taking Washington/Palmetto

This. Lived in Uptown for 10 years, and this was pretty much everyone's rec.

If you have electrical problems, Circle Auto Electric at Baronne and Calliope treated me right.
