I know...other sports board but I figured I would try to ha e my question answered here first. In short, if two players are tied overall but on different holes, who is listed hover on the scoreboard...
A. The one who has completed the most holes or
B. The one that has more holes to work with?

I've been to Germany but never played golf there. Is there a rule or is it just up to the broadcasters. FWIW, I have seen it listed both ways, in both cases to "bump" Tiger Woods up near the top (back in the day). Now Speith is getting the same love.

I believe it's their current ranking that counts...Speith is #1 in the world, so he would be listed above others with the same score.

It's supposed to be the one that has completed the most holes that day.

Scoreboards don't matter as much because that changes so much they aren't gonna constantly move names on physical scoreboard. But like Speith was first one to post -11 today. So he will be last of the -11s to play meaning he could be in final group

Should be the one with most holes played. That's how Taney determine the final pairings for the next day if 2 are tied.

It must be the world ranking, because they just had 3 guys ties at - 10 and the first guy listed was through 15, the 2nd guy was through 16 and the 3rd guy was through 14 holes. No rhyme or reason there, other than DJ was listed first so I assume it's rankings.
