Going out there next week. What course y'all like out of Cotton Creek or Cypress Bend? Anyone played out there recently?

Better than lost key and peninsula, but nothing to write home about.

Peninsula

This.... In my opinion Peninsula is the best course in the area by far. I grew up about 30 min north of Gulf Shores and played a lot of golf in the area. If you've never played there, do yourself a favor and go check it out. Cotton Creek, Kiva, and Cypress Bend are all nice as well, I've just always been partial to Peninsula. Really can't go wrong with any of the top courses down there.

Both courses at craft were pretty meh .
Don't remember the specifics of either one.

I enjoyed kiva and rock creek a lot.

Peninsula was a step up from craft as well in my opinion.

Make sure to visit a surf style while there, but keep an eye out, they're hard to find

If you feel like playing lost key, just go dump a dozen pro-v's off the Dularge overpass. Probably have more fun

Diamondhead has 2 courses, The Cardinal and The Pine.

I grew up playing on all the courses on the coast in high school and college.

I just always preferred The Cardinal. It's slightly tougher and it was always in better shape. I think it's the "main" course.
