Anyone stay there and how does it compare to Beau Rivage as far as quality and the crowd? They appear to be priced the same but the pool at the nugget looks superior. Thanks.

We were there in February. It is cheaper than the Rivage, but the pool was CLOSED for remodeling when we were there. Double-check before you make a decision. Our room was very nice, but I don't think it is as nice as the BR.

The Hollywood in BSL just put a new lazy river in, I imagine it's pretty cool. Better dining over this way...

in Biloxi, I would stay at either the Beau or the Hard rock if you want the nicest....to save a bit, but still have a very nice place, I would recommend the Imperial Palace....

Beau is the best, but Hard Rock is more my style.

The GN's pool is supposed to be balling. Being new construction, I hadn't realized its been open for a while now. I know the IP's pool was under a MAJOR facelift, everything there was being striped down about mid February. I have yet to see the finished product. I need to take a dip soon. ha

That's what I heard too. Swim up bar, etc.

Now I can't figure out if it is the GN or the Grand/Harrahs that is hosting a concert 3 or 4 times over the summer by their pool.
I checked both places and the weekend rates are just stupid for a south Miss casino.

Its the GN. BTE plays on the 7th, Corey Smith is coming, as well as a 90's era band get together of sorts with Everclear, Soul Asylum, Space Hog and another I can't think of playing the same day. Tix are cheap from what I've hear.

Lotsa folks who regularly live in a house which comes with wheels frequent the IP. The Beau Rivage is the cream of the crop of Mississippi Gulf Coast casinos.

Have fun.

Harrahs right right next door to the nugget is having a free Darius Rucker concert at some point in the near future if that's your thing.

Stayed at GN twice recently. One week before the new pool bar opened, So It looked cool is all I can say. All the rooms are recently remodeled. Not quit as nice as Beau, but still nice.

If I wanted to be in a lux casino I wouldn't go to Biloxi first place . When I am there I like the seediness of a southern casino that the imperial has. Real people up in there.

Bingo. Thanks everyone. This is actually for a girls trip for my wife. She saw pics of the pool and thought it might be cool. However, she doesn't want to hang at the pool with cousin Eddie. They will probably go back to the beau like they do every year. Thanks again to all........

except trill hog.

They certainly are real. A stroll through a WalMart in rural Mississippi must give you a real happy ending. To each his own.

I don't go to any Mississippi Casinos to gamble, only to an infrequent show.
