Gold Digger Stories

Went on a couple of dates with this beautiful woman. She was a traveling RN. She looked perfect in a bikini. We had a trip planned for Vegas. I had our flight and room booked which I was paying for.
One week before our trip she calls me and says she is low on cash. Said she needed me to transfer money immediately into a checking count. She said don't be cheap. I need at least 5K and not to worry. Others do this for her too. Next thing I know I get a picture of a bottom of a check in a text. I was shocked and stunned by this request. I said nothing and she said bye and hung up. I really was speechless. I went to the gym and came to my senses. I sent her a text saying I'm happy to pay for activities we do together but I'm never going to wire money into some account. She became furious. Called off the Vegas trip. Said I confused her. So I canceled the room and flight. I did not speak to her for a year. Out of the blue she texted me wanting to hang out but I ignored her. That was the end of it.

Girl at my wife's work was a gold digger. She convinced one of the engineers to bring her with him on a trip to Europe. I can't remember if the trip was work related for him or not. He paid for her plane ticket and they got to Europe and she didn't want to sleep in the same bed as him, said they were friends...

My friend who is a doctor set us up. She seemed fun and nice at a happy hour. I told him what happened and he apologized like crazy. He paid for the next 2 rounds of golf.

Wife kept pressuring him to buy a bigger home. So thinking they would have kids shortly afterwards they buy this huge home (5000 square feet). Then shorty after they moved in she filed for a divorce.
