I will be on Ch4 at 6:00. It will be about my ongoing battle with Chase bank to self contract my house. Even the state licensing board said they would go on record as saying I am correct.

They are a private bank. If they don't want to loan you money then they don't have to do so. Sounds dumb.

Why in the world would you want this to be so public?

My house flooded, I wasn't required to carry flood insurance but I did. Chase says that you can't self contract in La which is completely false. I have been in homebuilding the last 8 years.

Because Chase is flat out wrong and I want anyone else going through this to know that Chase is wrong. Quite a few of their employees have admitted that they are wrong.

Gotta be more to their claim than just that. Pretty damn easy to prove that is wrong.

Chase says they will not release my other insurance money without a contractor's license being provided. They say it's a state law, it isn't.

So, are they trying to tell you that you can't self contract, or are they trying to tell you that they aren't going to finance it if you self contract?

That I can't self contract. The insurance sent a check with mine and Chase's names on the check. However, Chase admits the money is mine and not theirs. They will tell me one day to go ahead and do the work then 3 days later I get an email stating I can't do the work. This has been going on for 4 weeks.
