Navigating the I10 closure between Jennings and Crowley Waze has taken me to parts of this state I didn't know existed. It has been 1 to 2 mile stretches of every non flooded road in Acadiana. 190 is a 18 wheeler cluster frick hence why all the cow trails.

Waze also wasted a few hrs of my life sunday when it attempted to direct me. Do not put all your faith in waze and this is coming from a huge waze supporter.

I can tell you they were all wrong in dif places. Also, the dotd 511la.org was a shite show as well. I just wish waze would have boots on ground or mini command center devoted to keeping people correctly informed. So much misinformation being spewed. Guess thats just nature of crisis

Waze is totally fricked for me lately. Constantly telling me to drive to the starting point. It did it to me on Airline and on I-10 in the last month. It is acting up even after uninstalling the App and even after wiping my phone.

I have had to use Google Maps lately.

So far so good. I didn't realize i10 was closed for that big a stretch. Showing all the way from Jennings to Laffy.

used Waze on my trip back to Houston from NOLA on Monday.

Took 90 and waze took me off of 90 into New Iberia and Admiral Doyle Drive onto Evangeline Thruway and back onto 90 after that.

come to find out, I didn't even have to do all that shite, could have just stayed on 90 and saved 30 mins of time.

The rest of the trip, however, was smooth sailing from 190 - 165 - 10W in Jennings.

We use waze and Google maps for road trips and set them to avoid highways.

Unfortunately Google maps doesn't understand the concept of private property at times.

I've been saying this for years about waze. Works great on a heavily trafficked interstate but it blows once you get out in the sticks.

Yeah, I use waze often and when Houston kept flooding, it couldn't keep up with the closed roads. It took my on a wild goose chase a few times.
