Go Fund me for statues

I believe things like billboards are private and you can put anything you want on em. Until a new mayor arrives there wont be any chance of bringing back the history we have lost. I bet people would get behind an idea of using billboards with pics of the statues and a quote from the person on it that shows what type of things they were truly fighting for.
Prob just a dumb idea but it crossed my mind. They actually would be even more in Mitchs face on the side of the intersate.
Seems people like the idea. So if I am to proceed upvote if you want to move this forward. Going to drink at Bulldog now so I'll see the status in the morning.

The battle is lost

With an unceasing admiration of your constancy and devotion to your Country, and a grateful remembrance of your kind and generous consideration for myself, I bid you an affectionate farewell. Mitch sucks.

How much does a billboard cost right on the Pontchartrain Expwy or somewhere in the CBD area? I'd throw in a few bucks to a GFM that'll put Jeff Davis, Beauregard, and Lee on a billboard there

I'd throw in a few sheckles for a frickMitch billboard re this issue. I'd say get some prices, put together a design, and then throw that shite up on GoFundMe. Maybe register a domain name to go along with it: MitchTheBitch.org with Twitter tag #KeepOrleansOriginal.
My guess is that a prominent billboard near the CBD would run in the range of $8K-10K per month.
