You must work in the ER.

I've seen a lot of shite like that when I'm back there.. we had to call adult protective services of a daughter who let her mom sit in her own shite and piss for days with no running water at her house. Disgusting... she smelled so bad coming in off the ambulance. They literally used buckets to shite in and would keep them laying around the house.

I don't work in ER. We sadly see kids taken by CPS all the time. Family isn't aware of it until right when it happens. CPS waits to take custody of child once they are discharged so they aren't financially responsible for medical bills. When discharged they then come and take kid. As you can imagine.,.,,it gets really ugly at times. We always have security present. Families have tried attacking staff and the CPS workers in the past. Or they try to follow CPS worker once they leave hospital.

If they just put the energy they put into attacking the CPS workers into raising their child, they might not be there in the first place .. Sadly, for most, that moment is probably the first time they realize what their kids mean to them ..

It's rare around here for that to happen.. but I live in a small town. I could imagine at one of those big city hospitals you see some crazy stuff.

Unfortunately we don't have security and me and the maintenance staff are it. Had a guy tripping off spice come in and was stand up boxing the doctor and a pregnant nurse until I ran across the hospital and choked him out. About as exciting as it gets and that's honestly enough for me

Yeah they just make it worse cause that behavior (them attacking/cussing worker) goes in writing and will not look good when their case is being reviewed.

I would hate to be a CPS worker. They are paid horribly and have wayyyyyy too many cases. I know in AZ there are simply not enough workers to handle the volume.,,,,so you have kids that slip through the cracks

Anyways.....sorry to be a Debbie downer with the CPS talk ....yall go out and enjoy your day....I'm off to sleep

Morning folks. 6am here in Maui. About to go catch some morning beach yoga - then pool/beach time will commence.
