Georgia Connick threw an underage house party

Georgia Connick, 19, allegedly held the party on West Road in New Canaan while her parents weren't home, police said.
Police said they were called around 1 a.m. on Saturday about the party. They said they saw a large number of teens try to flee through the woods.
They charged her with permitting minors to possess alcohol and procuring alcohol for minors.
Georgia Connick was released on a promise to appear in court. She's set to face a judge on Sept. 2 in Stamford.

I think the bigger issue is that there were minors at the party.

Well the person throwing the party was a minor, so of course there were minors at the party.

Hmm. What is the drinking age in Connecticut? I figured it was 21 mostly everywhere. So if she's not 21, how can she be the responsible party? She's underage same as everybody else. Somebody had to either allow her to purchase it or purchased it for her, and that person is who should be at fault.
Is that not right?
