I was at Home Depot yesterday and looked at a few grills. The wife wanted me to just get a stainless steel one because it was "pretty". I currently have a 1988 Kenmore that works perfectly besides it not having a ignitor. So how do you like your current grills

Pretty much this. Spare parts are always readily available, they never rust, one of the best customer service departments on the planet, even heating and the list goes on.

Do your family's taste buds a favor and buy a charcoal grill.

I have a Sabre infra-red. It's fantastic. Does a great job cooking food in half the time of a regular gas grill. It's well built and looks like it will last forever. It's kind of pricey, but to me it's worth it.

Save yourself some time and effort and buy a Weber Genesis.

You should get a stainless steel grill because it's the most intelligent thing to do.

I have a Brinkmann three burner. I like it. I'd literally never grilled before and made some chicken thighs and redfish and burgers the other day that were pretty killer. It's got a nice side burner for beans or whatever and a warming rack on top. And, most importantly, it was a good price.

I have the KitchenAid Stainless 4-Burner Grill. No complaints here, I grill 3-4 times a week. Even pulled off the Reverse Sear on it, Sous Vide is weak! FTW
