Just when you thought landing on a straight, flat runway was difficult.

This guy is retarded. The stresses this would put on the airframes would be immense.

Maybe shitty Airbus can go to circular runways. Maybe they won't crash as much.

Interesting idea and as computers become more and more involved and ultimately take over the piloting of the plane who knows.

Great idea until a plane had to land with no flaps. Or with damaged nose gear.

On take off, the curved and banked runway would cause the plane to be pushed down towards the runway as speed increased. Not ideal for a plane departing near max takeoff weight.
