Funniest shite happend at work, i think someone was trolling

So i work in an office, and every 2-3 days people will bring in 2 dozen doughnuts or cupcakes, or a whole dam cake, and the water buffalos here will destroy it by 9am.. So last week about tuesday i come to clock in, and instead of the usual junk food fest there is a whole bag of apples sitting there. I chuckle and head to my office.. Here we are over a week later and apples are still sitting on the damn table

what kind of apples? If they were red delicious, I don't blame people for not touching them. If they were fuji, you can mail them to me.

This is my office to a T.
I work on a second floor and I'm pretty sure it's suspension supported (2nd floor is top floor). Anyways, the ground literally shakes when our wooly mammoths get the "cake in break room" email.
ETA
And I work for a major corporation, not a state office fwiw. It's the IT folks here that can destroy a fuggin cake with their yellow glasses on. Chasing it down with Mountain Dew.
