Year or model doesn't appear to matter.
What's the deal with this?
Has Chevy commented on this? Are they making it right for their customers?

If you flash your lights at them or you will get shot

You talking about the running lights? I had a 2004 Sierra and this happened early on. Friend of mine said it's common as well. Used to drive me crazy but I haven't seen them as much lately

Ever try changing a light bulb on those things? You need tiny hands to get it done.

It's the daytime driving lights I notice always out on every Chevy, including mine. Always only one, so I just took the bulbs out of both of mine.

I notice this on Toyota trucks and SUV's as well. It happened on my 4Runner and I've started noticing it more and more.

No, the actual front headlight. It appears to mostly be the left one (when facing oncoming vehicle) based upon what I have seen.

I got a running light out on my Tahoe right now. Think it's been out about a year.

Ah sorry can't help you there. All I ever notice are running lights out. One day I'll learn to not buy GMs

Body shop owner years ago told me its a defect in GM wiring harness.
Posted on 4/10/17 at 9:23 pm to Will Cover
it's the wiring harness chevy puts on them
I replaced both of them and havent had a problem for a while, used to have to wiggle them to get the headlights to come back on

Is same wiring harness still being used today?
How is this not a bigger issue if it impacts all these Chevy's?

While all automakers build automobiles as cheap as possible, GM takes it to an all new level and DGAF. Would never buy a GM vehicle.

GM`s suck.
Buy Toyota or Ford.

Twice, and I am nearly certain I used every profanity known to man.

I buy vehicles at auctions and I stay away from GM products. They're now no better than Dodge.
