It's high in Vitamin K. I have to avoid Vitamin K because it counteracts my blood thinner. I can't have things like spinach, okra, broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Asparagus, or Collar and turnip greens.

Is what it is. I really miss Spinach and Okra the most.
Technically, I could eat these things. What it would do though is mess up my "INR" number in my blood and they'd have to adjust my Warfarin (that's my blood thinner) dosage to get it back into the target range. Then, once they had the meds dialed back in, I'd have to eat the same exact amount of whatever I ate every day. So for example, if I ate like half a cup of okra. They'd have to adjust my blood thinner dosage and after that I'd have to eat a half cup of okra every day. If I didn't and they had my dosage adjusted for that okra, my blood would get too thin and then things could turn ugly.
The whole thing with me dying, that was from my blood getting too thin because my dosage of Warfarin was too high.

sorry for your loss. I don't remember anything about my father or mother. I was raised by my grandmother. She died when I was 14 though. After that I was pretty much on my own.
