From April 1-15 with registration. You can look up your family's records from service during the war for free during this limited time.

Pretty cool feature. Give it a shot and you might be surprised at some of the documents you are able to uncover.

Great, now some sjw yahoo can track down my great great great etc uncle and then start protesting outside my apt that I dont get any peace until i publicly apologize for having an ancient relative that fought for the south.

You can try just searching the surname and going from there. If you have a very common name then obviously that would be difficult though. For others like myself with less common surnames though, it's a very easy search.
