I'll give you a bit of wisdom I learned years ago. You can get a hundred "atta-boys" and all it takes to wipe them all away is one "awe shite".

Regarding the flag, just don't pay attention to them, don't give them that satisfaction, they'll stop. Regarding disrespecting people, vets or not, that's an issue. Some young people are so ignorant and don't even know what they're rebelling against.

I get your point but the libtards of the day that burned flags back in the '60s went on to get elected to congress and higher. That would be the ones disrespecting the flag and shredding the constitution today. That would be the probable Dem nominee for president and these libtard punks will most certainly vote for her. I won't give the current batch a pass because their brains haven't matured. Before I was 18 I knew better than to disrespect the flag, an action that symbolizes disrespecting America. By the time I was 20 I was one of those vets they were disrespecting. Burning the flag and draft cards plus spitting on vets was in vogue back then. NO, they won't stop.

They may not be the majority but they are the activists that will go on to get themselves into positions to effect the outcome of the nation's direction.

If these people weren't vets this isn't a story.

This would be correct and it has an effect on other youngsters. Soon no one will join and the draft will be re-instituted. I'm going to get my popcorn and watch that with enjoyment.

Why would anyone down vote that. It's truth. Unfair, but truth.

It's all about brotherhood and all for one, one for all, until someone gets out of line, then nobody's their brother's keeper. If the other "brothers" had reigned in these assholes, none of this would have happened. You are your brother's keeper. You wear the same Greek letters. He represents you, and you represent him. You are responsible for one another's behavior. Fratstars-of which I was one back in the day-will learn this. They'll learn it the easy way, or they'll learn it the hard way, but by god they will learn it or their chapters will disappear one by one. Every incident like this drains more goodwill, among the general public, among administrators, among parents of potential members, and yes, among Greek alums. You guys don't have many friends out there, and you're fast losing the ones that you do have.

I like the idea of their national finding a few of their highest ranking alums in the military, having them show up at a chapter meeting in full uniform, and read these shitstains the riot act.

Didn't realize this frat originated as a frat for Jews.

That is despicable what those guys did.
Also this was not at a fraternity function and had NOTHING to do with any fraternity. The vast majority of fraternities are extremely patriotic, why is the fact they are in fraternities relevant to this at all?

I'm going to second this. Most fraternity members, particularly in the South, would at the very least offer a veteran a drink and a handshake.

Sounds like it was a fraternity function to me.

I do agree though that most members and frats would not participate in this behavior.
