Airport clubs and always have a backup flight so if anything happens you can have the airline reroute you without taking forever to find another option for you.

But most importantly keep your cool and take it for what it is, these things happen especially if you fly often.

Try and hit all the bars in each terminal.

Perfect situation. You can't bang them and you'll never see them again

This is way above average advice

honestly, that is why I now fly only when absolutely necessary...basically, anything under 8 hours, I prefer to drive...

as far as the flight complications go, you can expect some type of clusterfrick (i.e. lost luggage, cancelled flight, etc.) about every third flight...just accept it for what it is and go with the flow...there is nothing that you or anyone else can do to change it, so accept it as a part of the job and don't let it get you down too much...

Most of my travelling for work is international, so it sucks even more when I'm delayed. Sometimes it puts me back a day or more. I agree with the others who have said it... The best thing to do is to find the nearest bar and just get belligerently drunk.

My mom calls her admin and tells her to find her a flight on another airline.

Usually go grab a drink while posting from my phone. I usually don't get too worked up about flight delays cos there's really no point in doing so.

I usually get a little worked up with mechanical issues, but it doesn't last. If it's weather related, then I really know there's nothing to do. Everybody is fricked at that point.

I do it every week. Can't control it. Usually just end up doing more work to pass the time.
